This year the 2012 Academy Awards delivered the usual amount of funny, drab, homage and were delivered. Billy Crystal stepped up and hosted with his usual comedic style. But were there any surprises tonight?
This year the big nominees for the Academy Awards was Hugo, with 11 and The Artist, with 10 Oscar nominations. Below, are the winners listed, as they were announced and to compare, the number of nominations.
As you can see, Hugo came out of the gate strong, with The Artist right on its tail. Transformers 3 had 3 nominations but found themselves dusted each time dangit. (The TV Guide Magazine twitter helmer reminded me, that's why they have the MTV Movie Awards. LOL.)
Below is the list of winners, as they were presented during the Oscar telecast:

Thanks to the TV Guide Magazine Twitter account. I had to step away for the last 30 or 45 minutes and he/she kept to the subject at hand and delivered content, sans a lot of the op-ed from other accounts. That was refreshing.
