Pretty much fans of The Bachelor, in force, were tuning out from the Courtney season this year. We saw how she treated the women, then when she found out how Ben would perceive her interactions with the other women, she changed her tune, almost on a dime and started apologizing.
During the "after the final stupid rose" ceremony, Ben seems to be stupid enough to know that the girls picked on Courtney and that she's really a nice person. HA!
And with ABC knowing their season was spoiled before it even started (Yes, I knew the entire time what b! was going to win), so they played up her video confessionals about "Winning" and how she felt about, or more accurately, what she liked calling the other women. I mean seriously, did you not think she was getting way too much screen time? Plus, as you might have noticed, I kept calling it Courtney's The Bachelor... I had my reasons!
Courtney has this monotone persistence to her personality that doesn't seem to allow real personality to come out. When Ben proposed, I seriously thought that she was laughing, not crying, while he was on one knee.
Which would go hand-in-hand with her perspective about being there to win the game. And possibly her shot, at the girls, on camera, during her victory dance.
And Ben seems pretty happy about it all. And if that's what he wants, well, that says a lot about the man.
OH!!! I was about to show you an interesting YouTube Video that Ben made before the show started airing, but it has been pulled. Damnit! Because had you seen it, you would think they might be perfect for each other!

Chris Harrison thinks this couple will last because they're so odd with their approach to life. But if anything, I think fans were sick enough of The Bachelor that did they not only dislike Courtney, but Courtney may have ruined the series... and fans tuned out.
Though there were just over 9 million viewers who tuned in for the season finale of The Bachelor, that was down 40% from the previous season finale... so yea, we were sick of Courtney's antics and all the best of luck to the happy couple.
No... I'm not even going to go there. There being all the problems and torment they claim to be having on the "after the final flower" episode. For some reason, and I can't put my finger on it, I really don't believe them that they were having problems.
It's now March... they can now spend time together on a full-time basis. What do you think... at MOST... six months? Two months and we'll be hearing snippets of news about the them.
