Here are some quick TV news bits from Cinema Static:
Hey Stargate and Farscape fans, Ben Browder has landed a role on the next season of Doctor Who. He'll be appearing in the 3rd episode of this 7th season of Doctor Who.

Beginning on Tuesday, April 3rd, NBC will be airing a second night of elimination rounds of The Voice.
The Voice seems to be a pretty awesome reality TV series and it has at least forced the hands of American Idol and made them revamp their antiquated format from previous seasons.

And somehow, Netflix thinks it can foot the bill of the super expensive TV series, Terra Nova. The news on the street is that the beleaguered video service has "expressed interest" in the show.
But then again, isn't that like when a movie is in development... meaning that someone is sitting at a keyboard and thinking about writing a script that might never happen?
Aaand since the primary cast have already been scooped up in other projects, I'm wondering just how they're going to do this? Hand puppets for the cast and plastic toys for the dinosaurs? It should be interesting to see what comes of this, if anything.

Bonus Piece... Something Cool
The Stan Winston School of Character Arts fired off an email the other day with a video in it... it's a screen test from Jurassic Park 3 and shows a raptor that's running after someone. Scream man! Ah!
It's nothing phenomenal, but it's curiously interesting.

On the other hand, check out this full-sized T-Rex feeding on Styrofoam... now that's cool!
