So what's up Doc? Or more precisely, what new movies are playing at your local movie theater this Friday, Feb 1st? Cutting right to the chase, here's what's new in movie theaters this week:
(I provide [IMDb user ratings], where applicable, to help out with the decision process in case you're on the bubble about a movie or even going to the theater.) First up is
Stand Up Guys
Starring Al Pacino & Christopher Walken, with Alan Arkin, Julianna Margulies in the cast. The movie is about...
"A pair of aging con men try to get the old gang back together for one last hurrah before one of the guys takes his last assignment -- to kill the other one."
Dude, harsh!
Almost 3k IMDb users have seen the movie and given it a 6.6/10. That seems at least promising.

Warm Bodies
Starring Nicholas Hoult and Teresa Palmer, and keep your eyes peeled for Dave Franco and John Malkovich, in a movie about
"After R (Hoult) (a highly unusual zombie) saves Julie (Palmer) from an attack, the two form a relationship that sets in motion a sequence of events that might transform the entire lifeless world."
The previews look cute/funny and I'm torn between this and bullet. Jonathan Levine (50/50, The Wackness) directed.
No IMDb score.

Bullet to the Head
Starring Sylvester Stallone, with Jason Momoa, Christian Slater, Sung Kang and Sarah Shahi, this movie...
"After watching their respective partners die, a New Orleans hitman and a Washington D.C. detective form an alliance in order to bring down their common enemy."
Directed by Walter Hill (Prometheus, Alien franchise).
On IMDb, the movie has a good score of 6.9/10 by users.
=
The Haunting in Connecticut 2: Ghosts of Georgia
Cast includes BSG's Katee Sackhoff, Chad Michael Murray and Abigail Spencer; "A young family moves into an historic home in Georgia, only to learn they are not the house's only inhabitants. Soon they find themselves in the presence of a secret rising from underground and threatening to bring down anyone in its path."
It's directed by film editor turned director Tom Elkins. Hmm.
