'Falling Skies' Renewed by TNT Already

We're only a few episodes into the new (third) summer season of Falling Skies, but it's been doing well enough that TNT has gone ahead and renewed the series.

The show has been averaging just under 6 million viewers per episode and that my dear readers, is pretty good numbers for a cable show.

That means that the showrunners can concoct a brand new cliff-hangerish ending to this season so we HAVE to come back for a fourth.

I haven't been catching all the episodes as they air live on Sundays, but I am catching it, mostly via On Demand.

Falling Skies stars Noah Wyle, Moon Bloodgood, Will Patton and Drew Roy in a story about humanity trying to take their planet back from an alien incursion.

It's produced by DreamWorks Television.
