New 'Star Wars Rebels' TV Series Promo Art Released

With the most excellent animated series, Star Wars: The Clone Wars having been pulled from production back when Disney was making a lot of whole sale changes after buying Marvel, then LucasFilm and what not, fans were wondering if we'd get another animated Star Wars series.

The answer... yes.

The first promo art for Star Wars Rebels was released over at Star Wars Celebration Europe, which was actually to be expected.  The Celebration is akin to the rest of the world's Comic-Con event, where news and details on upcoming movie projects come out.

The time frame for this new Star Wars series precedes events in A New Hope and is expected to premiere as a one-hour special on the Disney Channel and will then be followed up by the series itself on Disney XD.
