An excellent series that takes, of all things, a zombie apocalypse, and makes one hell of a human drama out of it.  Based on the Robert Kirkman comic of the same title, this show has been one surprise hit, setting Cable and TV records as it goes.

Sons of Anarchy
: Season Five Starring Charlie Hunnam, Katey Sagal, Mark Boone Junior

Another great TV show that sneaks up on you and has you rooting for a biker gang as they try to climb out of the rut of crime, and taking a go at being legetimate.  But once your hands are that dirty, can they ever get clean?  Meanwhile, we find ourselve rooting for the characters and their personal battles.
