Review AGENTS of SHIELD, 11-26 ep, "Repairs"

Agents of SHIELD episode titled Repairs, was a breath of fresh air from the usual series of reminders and vague fillers we've been usually getting.  Writers Maurissa Tancharoen and Jed Whedon showed up and brought it, so to speak.

-

The ep opens, reminding us that Ward and May "boinked" last episode, and the new hazard this episode includes a telekinetic that seems to lost control of her powers when she gets upset.

Not good.  Seriously not good.  But not all is as it seems.

-

Fitz/Simmons, well, Simmons, is doing her Scully (X-Files) impersonation, refusing to believe in some of the powers she is experiencing on the SHIELD team.

But in this episode we also learned more about May's past and the reputation she developed for herself.

Our telekinetic "victim" doesn't believe it's her, per se, but rather, it's god not protecting her from demons.

Coulson is trying to train Skye, but as a new trainee, he's limiting her training to different stages.  But she's seriously impatient.

-

Turns out it less demons and more of a "dimension jumping psychopath" as it was put.  But it turned into a wayward kind of love story.  Yikes!

-

In the end, this episode of Agents of SHIELD was probably one of their best episodes to date!  It was also a breath of fresh air because we had no brain-banging reminders about Coulson.  FINALLY!  They trust the viewers.

We had a good challenge this time around which turned out to not be what was first presented, and we did learn a lot about May.

THANK YOU ABC/Marvel... this is the level of entertainment everyone hoped this could be and it finally achieved it.  I just hope this wasn't a lucky episode
