Throughout the different seasons of Sons of Anarchy, we've been spotting this homeless (ghost?) girl on and off.
First in Charming, then in Ireland, then later in Charming again.
The actress who portrays the homeless girl is Olivia Burnette and counting tonight, she's made eight appearances on the series, starting in 2008.
We previously knew of her from what Kurt Sutter said back in late 2012, saying,
“She is who she is and she represents what she represents and that’s really all I’ll say.”
But his reference for her is that she's been a mythical point in the series that he's only alluded to.
We've seen her show up in times of when Gemma or Jax are falling on tough (comparatively) times for either of them.
And after "John 8:32" we now know who she represents.
It was nice to see that bit of lore come out.
One thing of note, is that show creator Kurt Sutter warned fans that this is not a turn towards the supernatural, so to speak, but rather a sign, or an indication that there might be powers out there beyond everyone's control.
Fate is funny that way.
