Hey! If you're an excited Godzilla fan who's trying to patiently wait for the new Godzilla movie, helmed by Gareth Edwards, there's something of a prequel of sorts coming out before the movie to give you some info that could make the film seem more fulfilling.
It's a 72-page prequel comic book or graphic novel from Legendary coming out called Godzilla: Awakening.
Events in the graphic novel take place 10 years before events in the movie, so you'll have a more detailed bit of background before you see the movie.
The graphic novel comes out on May 7th, while the movie hits theaters on May 16th.
And to be honest, some times graphic novels work out pretty good. I've seen a few prequel comics and they have details that fill in little pockets of a story
The Godzilla (2014) cast includes Aaron-Taylor Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen (Avengers: Age of Ultron), Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad), Sally Hawkins (Blue Jasmine), Ken Watanabe (Inception), Juliette Binoche (Cosmopolis) and David Strathairn (Lincoln).
