GODZILLA Promo Poster and Trailer Collection

Godzilla (2014) is coming soon to a theater near you.  It stars Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Olsen, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Sally Hawkins, Juliette Binoche, Ken Watanabe, David Strathaim, and many more little monster morsels, I mean actors.

It's directed by Gareth Edwards.  It opens in theaters on May 16, 2014.

To date, over the last or so, there have been quite a few promotional posters that have come out, plus other marketing efforts like the Godzilla Encounter at last year's San Diego Comic Con. (The pic above came from a display of items from an unnamed collector in the encounter.  There was a rumor on the street that one of the models, the one above, was a model of THE beast.  And that rumor seems to have been correct.)

But be it as it may, I thought I'd pull together all the promo posters to date... check them all out!

This was the very first hint at the movie, a Comic-Con Godzilla promo poster from Legendary, from a few years ago:

Then we saw this name poster teaser for Godzilla.

Then this Mondo Godzilla poster was released at last year's Comic-Con

 Then the wait was on.  And fans waited, and waited, and then, a new Godzilla promo poster or two came out, helping our anxieties:
