MST3K To Return!

For those of you who have followed my writings, you know I've been a huge Mystery Science Theater 3000 Fan since before the dawn of... well, you get it.  You also know that I've followed the majority of the team to Cinematic Titanic.  And after I chatted with them, they put me on their distribution list and I was lucky enough to preview their newest DVD releases over on Brusimm. And they never lost their touch. Though to see their brand of humor with modern day references like iPhones and Microsoft, is odd, to some degree.

Now news on the street is that the National Geographic channel (of all nets) is putting together a three-episode mini-series with Mike Nelson, Kevin Murphy (as Tom Servo) and Bill Corbett (as Crow T. Robot).

The National Geographic (Nat Geo) episodes will be showing our Rifftrax team making fun of some animal episodes.  The episodes are reportedly dubbed “Pig Love,” “Demon Bat” and “Badass Dino Bird.”

Ya, sweet.  Everything I've learned about life, I learned from Tom Servo and his sarcasm sequencer! I love that little gumball machine!

The Nat Geo eps will air on April 1st, 2014. It won't be much, only three episodes, but maybe something will come of it.  Fans can hope!
