The new movies this week will be doing a few things.
One is testing the waters to see just how popular Aaron Paul has become from his role in Breaking Bad. Or how patient folks will be with another kind of Fast and Furious type movie.
The other test will be just how a TV show's popularity will translate to the big screen.

Did you notice that 300: Rise of an Empire pulled in $45M over the weekend? It was followed up by Mr. Peabody and Sherman, with $32.5M. And OUCH, Liam Neesom was not enough of a draw for Non-Stop, as it barely broke $15M.
And yet IMDb scores have all three movies at and over 7 (out of 10) on their user review scales.
