DANCE MOMS: Abby Lee Miller's Mother - RIP

Over the last few weeks we've been watching Abby Lee Miller deal with the health of her mother during the taping of the "reality" dance series on Dance Moms.  We watch the maniacal, crazy moms prompted to be as angry as possible while dealing with Abby's harsh coaching mentality.

It's fun and sometimes, a bit overboard.

But be it as it may, fans have been following the show know that Abby's mom's health was declining during the taping of these recent episodes.

But alas, no fight against cancer lasts forever. And it's an ugly fight we sometimes are forced to fight.

Abby Lee Miller's mother, Maryen Lorrain Miller, lost her fight with cancer in early February 8, 2014.

As per the closing tribute to tonight's episode on Tuesday, 4-8-14.

Once cancer hits your family, your entire life and awareness change. 

Suddenly you realize just how prevalent this ugly beast is.  Did you know that 1 in 3 folks experience a bout with cancer?  1 in 8 women contract breast cancer. It's crazy.

Cancer is an insidious entity that needs to be beat down.  Find your favorite charity that contributes to the fight against cancer and send them a dollar.  Every dollar helps.  How?

Let's say you're watching a show that advertises supporting a charity that is aligned against cancer.  If you think $1 seems like nothing, think of this:  If 5 million people are watching that show, and every one of them sends only a single dollar, well, I'm guessing you can do the math.

Every little bit counts, no matter how insignificant it seems.

I adopted this attitude the day cancer infiltrated my family on more than one occasion.  So I feel the need to pitch the fight.
