A new GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Trailer (#2)

Here's another trailer for Guardians of the Galaxy.  It goes a little more into some of the details behind the characters and the situation that pulls them together. Plus, we hear the raccoon talk, as well as Groot.

Since the movie comes out on August 1st, Marvel has its hands full trying to sway folks to the film.  When I first heard of the project, it was like, "So?"  But those who blindly support what Marvel does (hello!) will probably go.  Those who have never seen the comic title, ever (hello again), might be interested, because it's a Marvel film.  And marvel is pitching old, classic rock to pull other stereotypes of fans in. So... we'll see.

I suspect it will do well enough.  Plus, you have to wonder, what with some of the rumors I've heard/seen or what not, about other mainstream Marvel characters that might or might not show up in the beginning or end of the film, plus the now-classic end credits scenes... we'll see how this movie fits into the overall scheme of the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe and the story they're telling here.

I'm itching... ITCHING to see what they do with the Nova Corps in the story.  The Human Rocket was one of my favorite characters, so I'm patiently waiting to see how that turns out in the story... maybe not the character himself, but the corp of Nova!
