Movies and TV New to DVD/BD, Tues, 5-13-14

Whoa boy am I running late in getting out this "movies and TV" on DVD and Blu-ray report, for Tuesday, May 13, 2014!

Amongst the list are a few popular titles, like Longmire and Her.  Though I am curious how I, Frankenstein is a best seller, considering how quickly (AKA, poorly) it passed through the theaters.  (I sort the Amazon list by "most popular," however magic that is ranked by.)  It barely made $20M, and had an IMDb rating of 5.2! That's Syfy channel material!  Actually, it would probably raise the stakes for some of their programming. (Hell, they couldn't even muster up a full sized promo image for it on Amazon!  Ouch!)

Her, on the other hand, warranted an 8.2 from users on IMDb.  You be the judge!

Other titles include what I think is a very good streaming series, Orange is the New Black.  I found this show pretty riveting. And if you don't believe me, would you believe the thousands of IMDb users who have given Orange an 8.5 score?

Beyond that primary sellers, there are titles like Hagani, (Seriously, they're getting pretty liberal with the "art" of some things these days) some Marvel Knights animation, and a few classic TV shows like Perry Mason and Barney Miller.

And with Godzilla coming out in theaters, there's one last stab at a re-release of Godzilla King of the Monsters.
