We've all heard the sad news, where a much beloved Lion, Cecil, was illegally killed when it was tricked to leave the preserve it lived on, was shot by a bow, then tracked for forty hours before being put out of it's frightened misery by the great asshole hunter.
Now Animal Planet is doing a 12-hour marathon of programming dedicated to poor soul of a cat that was killed.

We here at Cinema Static are so sorry you became a part of this terrible travesty, but you will be remembered, and you may very well be heralding a new era of anguish and focus on the world of big game trophy hunting.
You will be the face of a new era of a world you knew nothing about and had no reason to fear because you lived on protected lands. Until now.
We are sorry you had to leave us in such a cruel and horrible fashion and yet there will be gratitude for helping shine a light on this stupid sport/hobby or what ever the hell you call this 'shooting arcade game' called trophy hunting.
