No More Community?
It would seem that you will not be seeing a seventh season of Community. There's chatter about a possible movie but that's only chatter for now. One of the reasons that Community is ending after six seasons, according to Joel McHale is,
Is it getting another season on Yahoo?
McHALE: No. They wanted to. But all of our contracts were up after six years. All the actors on the show, almost without exception — their stock has risen significantly and it’s out of the pay rate that is affordable to make the show. So you’re not going to be able to get Alison Brie or Gillian Jacobs at a normal television salary anymore. There is just not enough money to be able to pay for the show.

Revenge Spinoff?
Yep... as if the over-the-top get-even TV series, Revenge, wasn't enough for you. Or the fact that the ratings floundered enough to let it die off, ABC is pondering a spinoff of the series because internationally, it is still a big hit.
Maybe we'll see a spinoff, and maybe it would only air overseas. We'll see.
Revenge was said to be inspired by The Count of Monte Cristo, but to be honest, that idea barely scratched the surface of my brain. That coming from a guy whose favorite story of all time is The Count of Monte Cristo.
At least in Monte Cristo, we watched Edmund Dantes go through the tragedies that put him in jail, how he came into the money he wielded to help him get his revenge, his struggles up to and during his exacting revenge.
In ABC's Revenge, Emily just showed up with the cash and started taking people out. I loved the first season of the show. It was classic Monte Cristo. But then they introduced secret cartels and other crap that just muddied up the waters of the story.
Maybe they learned and will keep the spinoff more focused.

Fear The Walking Dead
In case you were wondering how much time the new spinoff/prequel series will cover when it premieres on Sunday, Aug. 23, on AMC, well, the press has been told that the first season will be a slow burn. (Have you marked your calendars?)
That's fine, we're used to slow burns in this show. And they are soo good.
In fact the series first two seasons will cover time BEFORE the moment Rick Grimes wakes up in season one of The Walking Dead.
They said they'll also touch on the military involvement of the plague. Remember all the bodies and medical tents and such when Rick woke up?
This time split can't be a bad thing in that this will give the series time to develop these new characters for fans. If it's enough of a hit, we won't be craving any appearances by Rick's group. We'll be enjoying this show on its own.
