Rated PG-13, running 100 min and a review Metascore of 32/100, well, I'll let you make the call on that one.
Four young outsiders teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe which alters their physical form in shocking ways. The four must learn to harness their new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.
Directed by Josh Trank (Chronicle), it stars Miles Teller, Kate Mara, Michael B. Jordan, Jamie Bell
Generally speaking, MetaCritic has the film at a 32/100 while over on RottenTomatoes, with 11 reviews in, it has a 18% score. The general tone is it is a great cast muddled in a convoluted story as the film develops.
THIS is why Fox wanted to restrict the reviews from coming out until the last second. This is why review restrictions like this is always a warning sign. Even the studio didn't have the confidence to let critics speak their minds early enough. JUST give the franchise back to Marvel and watch them do it right Fox.
