It had a good three-season run and the third season ended with a swan song of an ending. Just in case the show did not get renewed, the producers ended the season so there would be no open story threads leaving fans upset.
But then again the last few episodes of that last season almost felt rushed and slapped together. But at least fans got closure.
Defiance was the latest show to get axed, as they also announced a few days ago that they cancelled Dominion after two seasons.
On the bright side, we still have 12 Monkeys, Killjoys and Dark Matter. And upcoming series The Expanse and Childhood's End.
