It's a great cerebral experience as we follow Elliot (Malek), as he gets dragged into the realm of "saving the world" from rich conglomerates. But there are many players in this scheme. You just don't realize it as you watch the plots pan out.
Well, most or some are related.
Plus you need a bit of tolerance because our main character might have a few vices just to keep his image slightly dark, but well intended.
It's a smart show and it was creepy how our anarchist heroes were targeting "Evil" corp the same way Sony was targeted in real-life.
I love the episode names to boot, like:
eps1.0_hellofriend.mov
eps1.1_ones-and-zer0es.mpeg
eps1.2_d3bug.mkv
eps1.8_m1rr0r1ng.qt
eps1.9_zer0-day.avi
I am happy the show was renewed for a second season.
BUT
ANNOYING: My DISH DVR recorded all ten episodes. Oops, not. The 10th episode was a repeat of the previous episode because USA chose to not air the season finale due to events in Virginia. Which was understandable and compassionate of them to do so.
My mistake was trusting my DVR and USA network that when they did air the season finale, my DVR would pick it up. It Did Not.
If you are in the same boat, right now they still have the eps online, FOR FREE.
