TV SHOW CANCELLATIONS

The Whispers has been cancelled by ABC.  No shock. The story strarted out prett good but it seemed they started running out of good directions to go with the story and started jumping the shark with some content.

Oh well.

Mythbusters Ending in 2016

Yep, it is true and not a myth. Mythbusters is going to close out their run by having their 2016 season on the Discovery Channel be their last.

Their 13-year run has included 248 episodes, 2950 experiments, 1050 myths, and 900 explosions.

The final (14th) season of Mythbusters will premiere on January 9th, 2016.

Nickelodeon is cancelling "Instant Mom" after a three-season run.

Right now there is a tiny possibility that Gilmore Girls will get new life in a limited, new show on Netflix.

TV NEWS THINGS

There will be a "new" Firestorm showing up on The Flash, as in "new character as Firetorm, new actor" new.

Word on the street is that Simon Cowell will be replacing Howard Stern on America's Got Talent.

OMG, they are not ready for Cowell! They're going from a positive-spin, supportive guy in Stern to, well, Mr. Fuddy Dud, call 'em as he sees 'em Cowell.

This is cute... Deadline is reporting on stock analysts associating a drop in ratings for AMC's The Walking Dead with the network's stock price. They called the ratings numbers for the second episode of this season a dreary drop.

But...

-Ratings always start to drop after almost every season premiere;

-The show was up against SNF and Baseball playoffs

-

Though they do point out that the total audience for the show, once time-shifted (DVR) viewing kicked in, grew by 33%.

So far, it's been a great two episodes in this sixth season and the knee-jerk, ambulance chasers need to calm the (whoop!) down.

Power Rangers Black Ranger Cast

While it is moving slowly, development is moving on the Power Rangers reboot movie.

So far we have seen Dacre Montgomery nabbed to play the Red Ranger, Naomi Scott as the Pink Ranger and now Ludi Lin will play the Black Ranger.

Looks like good choices so far.

Sometimes actors are cast just because they will pull their fans into their next project. Damnit.

NBC just nabbed Vincent D'Onofrio to play the Wizard of OZ in their own Oz-lilke version, titled Emerald City.

Crap... I really like Vincent's work.

There's a piece out there that says Bruce Willis claims that a Die Hard prequel is a good idea.

Um, yeuah. It would be a paying gig for the guy, I'm sure. But what would make it stand out from any other tough-guy, shoot-them-all cop movie? That's the big question.

In other news... There's a show called "I am Cait?" Oh darn, I missed it.

Well at least this character is learning from the best in how to whore themselves out and make money about doing nothing but spending money. IE: The Kardashians.
