Ridley Scott's Alien Confusion
When 'Prometheus' came out, it was the culmination of people's disappointment and expectations. Ridley Scott kept the press releases mysterious and annoying, and when the first 'Alien' prequel film, 'Prometheus' came out, it seemed his press releases were not quite on point, but they did their job, if that was the intent, to keep people talking about the movie.
Well, he's still at it, as he pitches the noise about the Prometheus sequel.
He was originally calling the sequel 'Alien: Paradise Lost' but now he's calling it 'Alien: Covenant.'
It's bad enough the first movie was about stupid-ass scientists who can't get a clue, but Scott keeps screwing the fans around and keeping us off balance. Not to mention that Scott chose to focus on this, Prometheus 2, ended up putting Neill Blomkamp's own 'Alien' sequel on hold. (He was tapped to write a sequel to the original story line that included Alien and Aliens and what not.

Do you remember when I reviewed the TV series of'The Minority Report,' and in a later piece when I was predicting the show was doomed,I said that Megan Good had maybe three expressive modes to her acting?
Well, I was just sliding around the cable channels and came across the 2009 film called 'Unborn,' starring Odette Annable. While watching it I saw Meagan Good in it!
Do you know how I instantly recognized her? She had the same two or three facial features she does six years later in the TV series.
Sigh.
BTW, 'Unborn' is pretty fun. Sure, it's a classic, scary possession movie with the usual scary stuff, but the cast included Gary Oldman, Cam Gigandet and idris Elba. I mean seriously, did Good learn nothing from this wealth of experience?
Any how, 'Unborn' is a worthy, fun watch and Good triggered that one brain cell that held this 'Minority Report' memory.

I just found a huge flaw in the IMDb movie database.
I was looking up a NASCAR driver acting resume and noticed that under the driver's name, they included his TV race events... AKA< the 2008 NASCAR Subway 500... but it's categorized as a "TV Movie."
My guess is that IMDb has categories to choose from and sporting event is not one of them.
Too funny.

Have you noticed that every week the new suspect in 'Quantico' IS THE TERRORIST and that the highly trained team of agents blow off their training for what I call the "leap of the week?" Seriously... this show is getting old.
