This year's version of the Critics Choice Awards confused me. In some categories I completely agree with the winner, while in most categories where Mad Max won, I scratched my head, because basically, it was nothing but Death Race action porn in the dirt. Yep, I did not find it quite the same as others did, like Roger Ebert who went on and on about it being the best action film in history.
Where was Ebert during the Transformers movies? Oh yea, Miller did not direct them! LOL.
Anyhow, I'm fond of the Mr. Robot, Fargo, Shark Tank and John Oliver wins,

Fargo beat out Childhood's End for Limited Series... to be honest, Childhood's End 3 of the 6 hours were a total waste of time.
Mad Mxx beat out a bunch of different movie in different categories that I thought maybe there was a better film in that category than Max. Like for one, Tom Hardy for best actor in an action movie, does not sit well with me. He grunted most of his dialog and beat out Daniel Craig, Tom Cruise, Paul Rudd in that category.
Mad Max for best hair and makeup.? Costume design?
Meh, what do I know, right?
