MAJOR CRIMES Last Season?

I've been a huge fan of the TNT series, Major Crimes, ever since it came on the air, and I'm quite disappointed that this is the last season of the series.

To me the show has always played out like a mini-movie or an hourly installment of a long-running movie. The camera angles, the moments, the editing, all feel so brilliant, all while delivering a wonderfully told police procedural.

This series was a spinoff from The Closer and the series finale of the show occurs on January 16th.

I'm bummed the show is ending. It's one of the few I truly look forward to watching each week. I'm going to miss the show.
