FX is ordering a dance musical series called Pose, from Ryan Murphy.
I don't usually report shows potentially being ordered but it's Ryan Murphy. Who? Ryan is the man behind such TV shows as
American Horror Story - On since 2011
Glee - 2009 – 2015
Feud - Since 2017
Nip/Tuck - 2003 – 2010
Yea, that Ryan Murphy. But this new show will be taking new and bold approach for the television landscape, and leave it to Murphy and FX to blaze the trail!
The series will be set in the 1980s and it looks at the juxtaposition of the different segments of life and society in New York and the cast will include transgender regular cast and recurring LGBTQ cast members.
FX has ordered eight episodes of Pose and its scheduled to begin production in February, premiering on FX in the summer of 2018.
To quote Murphy,
"I am thrilled to join forces with John Landgraf and FX Networks and FXP and Dana Walden, Gary Newman and Fox 21 Television Studios to present what I think is a game changer of a show, which at its heart is an uplifting series about the universal quest for identity, family and respect. Along with being a dance musical and an affirming look at American life in the 1980s, I'm so proud that ‘Pose’ and FX has made history right from the beginning by featuring the most trans series regular actors ever in an American television production. Additionally, the first season ‘Pose’ will feature 50-plus LGBTQ characters – a record in American television history. I can't wait for people to see this incredibly talented, passionate cast."
You go Ryan!

BAD NEWS
Chance was cancelled by Hulu
The Mayor was pulled from ABCs lineup, with no return date in line, for the moment. It got pretty bad ratings, so if it does come back, it will probably to air any canned episodes the already have on file. That's why you've been seeing Modern Family repeats in its Tue, 9:30 time slot.
Showtime Cancelled White Famous.
